Welcome to my World
&
the Teacher’s Toolbox!
My guess is that if you have stumbled among my blog that you are a teacher, or an aspiring teacher. If you are anyone else, welcome, but I believe you are lost! Please feel free to stay awhile and poke around. Let me know what you think.
My name is Abigail Davis and I live for all things education. I am 21 years-old who is completing her final
year of college before heading into a classroom of my very own. Over the next year, I will be student teaching and enhancing my knowledge further about teaching first grade! I am very passionate for
learning, as well as teaching. Not only do I have a huge love for teaching, I enjoy spending my summers with my family in Portland, Maine. Being outside, hiking, biking, running are all things that have had a huge impact on who I am today as a person!
My hope is to share and provide links to other useful resources that will be beneficial to you. In addition, I anticipate advocating on certain topics such as classroom management, trauma responsive classrooms, communication, relationship building, and much much more! I even might dip into some personal briefs and discussion my thoughts on eliminating state-wide testing, longer recesses, and more politics than one may think are happening within the schools around the nation. Overall, I am very excited to wrap my head around all of the voices that I will be able to draw upon in my blog. I am SO glad you are here!
